Hi there

Sorry about the "doubled" transactions, there is a bug in the database I use (if interrested, look at https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-5931); I made a fix for this.

HI just checked my angelshare donation https://coinplorer.com/PTS/Addresses/Pmo1PVn3iqHBKP8bdJR9kAdsdrRkWBEsW7 this seems wrong I donated 50 not 79.45?
Coinplorer is correct here, just have a look to the transaction ("see trx" link): https://coinplorer.com/PTS/Transactions/efae002a09aeac6883f3ff516e5af2f528b4a2b37333774102b52bbc8e7ea66e
Your wallet created a new address for the change, to 79.45 effectively went out of your address Pmo1PVn3iqHBKP8bdJR9kAdsdrRkWBEsW7, but you got 29.45 PTS back to another address (possibly hidden by your wallet). I hate those hidden things too...

Best wishes for 2014.

Oh, I wasn't expecting solomining at all ^^
I saw that in the parameters of ptsminer 0.7, and wondering if greater memory usages was increasing revenues or not

BitShares PTS / Protoshares memory usage

Hello,
What is the relation between protoshares mining and memory/thread?
More memory/thread the better?
What is it supposed to improve? c/m ? sh/m ?
In what proportions?

Suppose I've a 2 cores / 4 threads CPU with only 4GB RAM, should I prefer 3 threads*1GB per thread or 4 threads*512MB?

Thanks.

Yes, I've a VERY bad dedicated server provider for the database (also very cheap, and that matters to host >150GB database for a website that generates 0 revenues). I'll try to reinstall the servers this week end, because I noticed their "special kernel" actually significantly decreases performances...
Sorry about bad availability though.
OK, they are very bad but... I also have a dead hard drive. I requested them to change it, should happen within 24 hours (no data loss, it's a replica and it has raid).
But I will still reinstall the server this week end, to get a better kernel.

Nope, because that's not the way the blockchain works, and not the way my db is designed by extension. (addresses have inputs that are spend or not, thus making a sort on how much an address "owns" is simply not possible).
But I might add this in the future, but it's very far from trivial (blockchains changes all the time because of hard forks and everything, and without transaction support in the datastore I'm using it's hard to maintain a "cache" of how much each address owns).

Read back a few posts.  The payment threshold was lowered to 0.33 due to the diff change.  Your link looks just fine.  The payment rule at the top hasn't been updated so I can understand why it might seem odd if you weren't following this thread.
OK, sorry about this :) those guys really need a graphical interface or something better than their 70's text interface.
The user page still states "personal payouts are executed, when you reach at least 1.0 pts" btw.

WTH? Am I banned or something?
http://ptsweb.beeeeer.org/user/Pu9jKnnjZvNZ52WrVLda84SLMb1grvTBR5

My shares don't appear anymore, despite the fact I've added several workers (maybe 10-15) for few hours, just to test. And my 0.3 pts were paid despite not reaching the 1 pts threashold.
Do you seriously think I'm operating a botnet or something?! With 15 computers?!
Please unban me!

Thanks.

- QR Code is online (protoshares:address) -- I wasn't sure about including protoshares: or not, so let me know if this is OK
- Protoshares blockchain is now fully synced

a "donate to" or "make payment to" button added to an address link (eg http://coinplorer.com/PTS/Addresses/PenisWxQhJXM7KBMwdKn9WFAj8Gi9dL6Xx ) would be really cool :)

This is a very good idea! I'll do it this evening I think.

The issue is because I need to import the blockchain into my database and this is not done yet (should be tomorrow I think).
Those "bitcoind" clients have all the same performances issues, they are VERY bad at handling multiple RPC commands getblock/getblockhash/getrawtransaction/decoderawtransaction, and I even think they have deadlocks (often the clients just "hangs" for "inifinite" duration, until the server is rebooted or the client killed).

I've just added support for PTS on my website: http://coinplorer.com/PTS
It's still importing though, not yet up to date (see importation status on http://coinplorer.com/Console/Status2).
Unfortunately PTS is not yet supported on major exchanges so I don't have historical prices, I'll try to find a an exchange to provide prices.
