Cryptofresh.com (http://cryptofresh.com) is a proof-of-awesome BitShares store.
The store is live, t-shirts are here, the referral program is implemented,
and you can now pay with BitUSD, BitCNY, BitEUR, BitGOLD, and BitSILVER.
Sorry, we don't accept NuBits, BTC, and not even BTS. BitAssets only! :)

Addendum
It's been a joy working on this payment gateway... that's coming from someone who's
priorly implemented Robokassa, Authorize.net, and Stripe payment gateways (grudgingly).
Reflecting on my experience, many benefits come to mind:
For customers
- TITAN allows for very friendly interfaces
- Pegged assets like BitUSD are as intuitive as it gets
- DPOS makes transactions fast and painless
- Practically no need for QR codes
- Logins (not yet implemented) simplify repeat orders
For developers
- Interfacing with BTS client is easy
- No need for cumbersome currency conversions if pricing in fiat
- Writing a BTS payment gateway from scratch
was easier than implementing the Authorize.net API
- No crazy chargeback/verification logic
For merchants
- No chargebacks
- Minimal collection of customer data
- No 3rd party involved
- Stable currency
- Transfers are atomic and practically instant
- Transaction fees for a $20 purchase are less than 0.1%
where 2-5% fees are the industry standard
For a $200 purchase, the fee is less than 0.01%
Needless to say, we're excited to explore the opportunities with this outlet!

Once you complete (and/or refresh) the order, you will see the message "Thank you for your order! It will be shipping soon!" in the gray box below. This last stage of the order flow needs better clarity, I'll admit. I did confirm your order went through though. :)

We can certainly print larger sizes when we do the next run.
We'll need to sell through most of the existing shirts first, we had 100 printed.

One remark on payment: As I use the CLI version I copy/paste receiver/memo .. I do this by double-clicking accountname and memo. For the memo However, the "." at the end is also selected and has to be removed manually after pasting.

Well the sky is the limit. Since you're a little slower with the yarn and hook you'll just have to charge more for your one of a kind pieces :) or find other merchants who are interested in accepting Bitassets.

I also recall a post where someone wrote about having advised the female friends he'd introduced to bishares to conceal their gender on the forum . :-\

I am sure you will agree that doing this will only help to further adoption for bitshares as a whole, not to mention it keeps in line with bitshares open source nature.

Yes yes yes 100 times yes, we are going to open source it! :D I think Tim (roadscape) was just waiting to put some things in order with the code before doing so.
We both worked through the holidays to get everything developed and up and functioning, and just recently took a moments rest with our respective families. About to spring back into action!
We just earned back our 'first' 100% delegate registration fee on media.bitscape.
provisional.bitscape is not yet voted in, so you could say that we are currently, essentially two 50% paid delegates with weeks of work and money pre-loaded into this project.
We still need your votes. We're not stopping anytime soon!

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but the lack of developer opinion on the matter is a little frustrating.
