Title: BitUSD sold below price feed?
Post by: mdj on January 03, 2015, 02:13:52 pm
How is it possible for there to be sales below price feed? Are these due to the BTS price falling and existing sell orders falling below the line?

I guess that means someone thinks BTS is undervalued on the exchanges (and thinks that selling bitusd for bts this way is getting him a better price than buying up the order book on exchanges).

Thanks - think I was getting confused with the short limitations on the price feed.

You can SELL bitUSD below the feed, but you cannot SHORT it below the feed.  (That is, you can sell already existing bitUSD that you own, for whatever price you want.  But you cannot create NEW bitUSD and drive the price down to zero with it, below the feed, by shorting).
