Any opinion on that?

https://btcjam.com/

There must be a way that we can make a DAC for p2p lending that is more secure.

Why couldn't you just run an IPO for yourself or your business on Bitshares Me?

I just read their about page, so I am not an expert on their business.

btcjam relies on some reputation scoring system but I didn't see any details in the "About".  Not sure. TBH it seems kinda scammy to me.  Not sure how you'd build a reputation system outside the existing ones (credit scores/criminal checks).  Or for countries that might not have such a system in place like they suggest.  Reputation systems can work, but they need time to build up data.

Once Bitshares had a reputation system in place, then perhaps this would be something for Bitshares.  The other option as donkeypong pointed out is to sell shares in yourself.

I agree! I don't think I would invest through BTCjam anyway. I would rather wait for a more reputation system or more trusted parties as you say through BitsharesMe.

However I think that a specific DAC for p2p lending will be the way forward. I believe it is better to have a "company" bringing all the borrowers and lenders together rather than having to choose between different IPOs through BitsharesMe.
