Hi Guys
It's no doubt Russia has been ill for its economy for a very long time and that it is suffering from a currency crisis. A 10% of its value was lost on December 15th, making a 40% of loss of the value of last year.
This is wrong, and this is wrong to the point that people should not suffer silently anymore. When a state fails at its responsibility and obligation to protect its people, the right should be given to the people themselves to do this job. Especially with the problem being there for such a long time and when we see no way of changing in a short run. The dependence on oil revenues and the monopoly playing are not gonna change overnight.
The more Russia tries to prevent money from running away the country, the more it is doing the opposite. People are panic buying ,trying to save up their purchasing power. The question is only left to how we can find a better and quicker way out, because what Russia has more than proved is the simple fact that the more regulations and controls, the more damages governments are doing to the economy. If the walls of a state is no longer serving as a protection against outside invasion, but something that suffocates people inside, it's time that they be crashed to give back people's right to choose currency.
We believe Bitshares with its inherent feature of liquidity over the globe and its decentralization nature that protects itself from any governmental intervention, is the best way to go. We hope at this very critical moment, the great invention of the block chain technology and the BitAssets could finally turn out to be a savior.
We are preparing to launch a bilateral exchange service between BitUSD and rouble. The website will be launched in 4 days under a countdown.
Our plan:
1.Upon the launch of the website, we will start daily manual process of exchange between bitUSD and rouble just to see the demand of the market. The asks on the website will not be processed instantly. The plan is a few times a day and the frequency will be adjusted as our trader and operator respond to the depreciation of the rouble, the volatility of the rate of Bitshares and BitUSD and other operational and potential tech problems. During this time, we will try to smooth the whole procedure in this tryout and will charge no fee for the service. In this process, we welcome BitAssets holders and people who are interested in our cause to synergize our efforts by expanding more channels to reach out to outside of the crypto-world.
2.We will try to begin the promotion of this service in the Bitshares community and the go out to the ordinary people who need help. In this process, we welcome BitAssets holders and people who are interested in our cause to synergize our efforts by expanding different more channels to reach out to outside of the crypto world
3. In a week or two,
a. if the demand goes up, we will pour in investment in program design to see how the exchange could be done in a more efficient and automated way. At the same time, we will increase the exchange frequency for the asks. (where we would need more help finance and tech wise)
b. if the demand remains neglectable, we will go back to question whether our service speaks to people’s needs (which is of no doubt at this moment) and how to better reach out to market.
4. In the case of b, we will proceed with regular service but make more efforts on the simplification of user experience and market education as to BitUSD, among many other BitAssets, being a reliable and trust-free Asset.

Currently, our three-men team consists of.
1. a website engineer
2. a trader
3. an operator
There used to be no way to get out of this at all, but now with Bitshares and BitAssets, it's different. We are doing it because someone needs to step up to break the wall and free the money.

Just a suggestion, can you make your website/landing page brighter? Idk, I honestly will nope the fuck out when I see that login page, it looks kinda scary and shady. Feels like I'm about to get mugged in there.

I try to register at this gateway with Russian IP address but it's not recognize it as Russian IP :(
