Wow, that's a near perfect voice, intonation, and pace for listening to a podcast.

I would think that would open up a whole new channel to get the message out.  I have a whole iPhone full of such things from other blogs and find them very useful way to redeem my travel time.

I am half-way through listening to it now. It is very well done, very clear and very well vocalized.

However, it must have been a lot of work for you and I'm not sure of the ROI unless you have a specific purpose for it and you think it will get a sizable audience.

Your time is valuable. How would you get this in front of listeners?

Yes please. If you record the most popular ones then others in the community can create their own videos for them and use these as the narration.

Though I agree with bm on a great many things there is one place (I think) I diverge: I believe we help ourselves most by always trying to think of what is best for everyone around us.  I'm not saying I disagree with the value of working for self interest.  I'm saying that we can work for our own self interest by helping those around us.

From the very first time I saw BM at a speaking engagement, I could tell he was wrongly looked at as the underdog...and I knew why. His philosophy and intent is the one that is most dangerous to the currently entrenched power structures (that is, of course, if they consider "danger" to be the uplifting of all, including themselves as opposed to a monopoly on power and control over others).  I could tell he was a hidden gem, and this is not meant to kiss ass...my personal actions prove I believed this well before bitshares was a top 10 crypto.

Though he is a badass engineer, coder and economist, I think his greatest value lies in teaching others and the trustworthiness of his intentions.  This, coupled with the power of sharedropping as a mechanism for dispersing tokens is largely the reason I have done what I have done for all this time in the past year.

In the current paradigm bitcoin holders are forced to speculate (gamble) the only crypto considered truly valuable for a chance to "hit it big" on the next big thing.  This culture has created an incentive structure that largely benefits those willing to hurt others (primarily new adopters) by promising the world, asking for their hard earned bitcoin and never producing anything of real value to society.  It is a culture that creates a public outcry for the regulation of cryptocurrencies...which is the last thing we want or need.

I wanted bitshares to be something different and everything bm, stan, toast and the others have done makes it possible for us to make it so.
I will be writing a post in the future about this specifically, but the intent of beyond bitcoin (which was born here in this community) is to give trustworthy devs who hold similar philosophies to our community the ability to prove the viability of their project by enriching all of us with a stake in their project using sharedropping.  In return for their sharedropping on us, they open the door to one on one access with our DPoS Community of DAC savvy enthusiasts, investors, marketers and developers in a way that enables them to earn trust before ever asking for users to speculate with more stable investments to buy their project's tokens.

I do this because I believe in order to be a crypto standard we must shine where no others do--not only technologically but with respect to the value and trust our community instills in potential investors.  This means we must not be afraid to tell the truth when necessary (especially when it is not popular). It also means we must be willing to teach and use the knowledge we gain on our journey to provide feedback to those philosophically aligned with the use of blockchain tech for freedom and empowerment of all the worlds people.  To these ends I have worked, and have made some of the best friends I have ever had in my life...and bytemaster has supported those efforts along the way.

As far as ROI, it is my hope that when I finally someday actually get a delegate up and running that our community will support payment to a team of people who plan on helping me expand dev hangouts for those future devs who want to sharedrop on all holders of Primary DPOS chains, and the delegates hangouts for those who wish to work for them.

In the future, I want to use the mumble server for large conferences that debut many devs who sharedrop on all of us.  I want to set up bitshares tv to be able to do one on one video hangouts with big industry players and devs who become famous building DPOS-based services, and to become a network of correspondents who reach out across the world to show others where our technology has changed the paradigm from one of artificial scarcity and violent control over others, to one of freedom, liberty and abundance for all.  I plan on helping position the NullStreet marketing initiative and all its volunteers become a the first stop for DAC-Based news stories...
I want to uplift all of you in hopes that you will all consider the value of my vision worth funding across the many primary chains that will someday exist to provide services in all government, industrial, information, educational, entertainment and agricultural sectors that would benefit from the inclusion of blockchain technology.

In the end, I plan on continuing to do this with or without the help of others, but the outcome I hope to see would be a world where I get paid (and hopefully in turn pay others who help me) to continue helping the movement "beyond bitcoin" and the destructive incentive structure that has formed around bitcoin and most other projects.  So my ROI really depends on others recognizing bitshares is FAR MORE than a single chain we want to be worth "100 Billion Dollars", and extends to a vision of a world where DPOS is a crypto standard that uplifts all humanity...and just so happens to also make us a little (most likely a LOT more) more wealthy than most for being early adopters...because we own stake in 1000's of chains worth huge sums of money.

This is great. It feels like a classy fireside chat, almost like this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZuowNcuGsc).

Thanks guys (and gals).  I am going to tweak it to see if I can lower the volume at that point where it seems to increase toward the end, but once I finish that I will begin working on the other ones.  It is good to see you guys seem to like this.  :)
