I have the same problem, although the bottom right shows "blocks are synced". The "rescan" command does no help.

Bought some Bitgold yesterday, now it says "Unknown" and the BitGold has disappeared.

Any ideas?

Just downloaded the bug fix which has resolved transaction scanning but above still remains.
