i can totally sympathize not wanting to waste money on legal over this.   i will still call it protoshares. i have actually heard of protoshare only because i was looking up protoshares. i myself use mock up tools, but i will make sure never use their tool :)

Will Protoshares now be renamed?
Is Bitshares PTS the New Name? If so what Stands PTS for?

PTS stands for ProtoShares but we now refer to it as BitShares PTS in all of our marketing material.

It's like Bitshare is the brand name, all others are products.
