Post by: emski on August 14, 2014, 07:24:42 am
It is the one including all AGS and PTS by the time AGS donation ended.
What for will this snapshot be used ?

the AGS snapshot will be used for ALL upcoming DACS as AGS donation period is over ..

for PTS, each DAC has to announce an individual snapshot date and thus has its own snapshot

does this answer your question?

To be precise, the snapshot is supposed to be taken from the evolving BTSX block chain at the time of the new DAC snapshot - not February 28th, 2014.  So trading BTSX amounts to trading places on the promotional free samples mailing list for future exchange DACs.

BTSX is thus the PTS-like proto-DAC of the Exchange Sector of the DAC Industry.

I sure hope the IRS doesn't view it exactly that way. I wouldn't want my cost basis to go to zero each time BitShares X hard forks for an upgrade.
