Wasn't he the one who also tweeted about Bitstamp's hack a few hours before they announce it? Obviously, it's just a man's words, so far it's purely speculation, but it's always interesting to see what happens

Price manipulation.
Yes it seems so, but from what he is saying it seems someone is going to announce something and we all already know there is price manipulation. That and the fact 3600 coins worth of of money have to be injected in the market everyday, it's just not sustainable. The miner's greed will cause their own downfall.
But I'm curious about what seems to be going to be announced. I heard there will be some kind of Bitcoin conference but that's all I can think of. Other than that, this guy is known for being a scammer so it might just be nothing. I'm only curious because he got early info on Bitstamp hours or days before anyone else.

Yeah, I think he is using his position as someone who "predicted" something big in the past (Bitstamp) to hype whatever is happening. It may all be bs, but fear is a very strong weapon in these markets.

Reminds me a bit of when Max Keiser broke the story of Newegg or TigerDirect or one of those early adopters using Bitcoin. Then he claimed to have inside information that Netflix was going to adopt Bitcoin any minute. That was a year ago.

It means coins which had stayed in their wallets for long have moved.
It may mean some early adopters are moving their coin but that means nothing. I would ignore it.

It may mean some early adopters are moving their coin but that means nothing. I would ignore it.
Indeed, it's only normal a few cold wallets turn hot in days like these

"Destroyed days" is a way of measuring dormancy of coins. If 10 BTC sit in one address for a single day and are then sent to another address, 10 days are destroyed, similarly if 1 BTC sits in an address for 10 days it would also be 10 days destroyed upon moving. So, if in a given day there is a huge amount of days destroyed it could mean that a hoarder is moving a lot of coins they have been hodling for quite a while. It usually makes people nervous as it could mean they are moving them to sell them, pushing the price of a BTC down.
