Title: Is Bitshares based in a country?

Even thought Bitshares is decentralized, it still has weak points. For example .org is under USA jurisdiction. Bitshares needs its own.p2p site

I think this deserves some consideration because anything that offers an alternative to the fiat nonsense is bound to come up against walls - whether they be excessive regulation or whatever.

Do any of the developers have an opinion on this and how the system would hold up? Before investing significant wealth I would like to know how we can guarantee availability.

The binaries and src are put in bittorrent which is p2p.. so its always available.

It might be good to duplicate the site content on an outside domain; is that what you are saying?
