MemoryCoin / Re: Solo mining MMC using multiple yam workers

Great! This was something a lot of people asked for.
What's your MMC address for a tip?

Diff is ok, it adjusts per block.

I don't know about the upgrade problem and I was hoping that someone with more technical knowledge would answer this - as nothing happened until now I'll forward it...

Mining should work fine as long as "blocks" shows the correct height and "hashespermin" > 0 - but are you sure that you want to mine solo? The yam pool miner is greatly optimized and will give you much better results!

i usually use qmake-qt4 memorycoin-qt.pro && make
but when you already got a memorycoin-qt executable you seem to be a step further.

can't tell you why the wallet doesn't start as long as there's no error message :/

Close the wallet, go to %appdata%\MemoryCoin , save your wallet.dat as backup, delete everything except wallet.dat and try restarting the client
If this doesn't help, try following these steps: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2828.msg35234#msg35234

bgaer: voting results are counted every 2 hours - so if you buy, vote and sell you get nothing. you'd have to buy and hold

bgaer: there's no way to establish a 1-vote-per-person system if you don't want to use something like postident...you can have as many personalities as you wish everywhere on the internet.

No, there's no optimized version for that architecture.

What's the output of
cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep "model name"

The os you choose won't make a (big) difference

1.: threads=0 uses all available cores, no need to change
2.: no idea what cpu they use. i'd advise you to test several versions on one box before

the letter is like the version number, m > k

You need to download the file for your architecture and extract it. There's a yam-mmc.cfg inside the tar. Modify that file to use your addresses and upload it to your own dropbox account. Upload the tar too.
Then, modify the script to use your dropbox urls and the file/foldernames for your chosen architecture. You can add a cd ~ after #! /bin/bash to be sure it's happening in your home folder.
