Wow, a Bitshares related article on Coindesk, now there's a surprise! I noticed this at the bottom: "Correction (21st January 2015, 14:06 GMT): Removed reference to bitcoin's blockchain.", maybe it got through the "blockade" because they thought it was using Bitcoin? ;)

That's it! No need to mention BitShares up front. The segment on FollowMyVote didn't even mention Bitcoin in passing, let alone the blockchain or the BitShares blockchain it sits on.

BitShares is the crucial detail that emerges when the plot thickens..  8)
