Title: Are we forking again?
Post by: graffenwalder on December 20, 2014, 08:26:37 am
Just started up the wallet, and it seems a lot of delegates are missing blocks.

Delegate participation rate is 76.52%

My delegate seeing "blockchain_average_delegate_participation": "77.10 %".. I'll keep an eye on it then but can't contribute while I'm outsite top 101.

Perhaps there needs to be a weighting that pushes delegates with old versions out, to help promote those who are maintained? List is at http://bitsharesblocks.com/delegates

Bitsharesblocks just got stuck because of a "non-canonical" public key at block 1303717, I've compiled my own version v0.4.27.1 that includes Vikram's fix to work around this. But yea seems we're forking once again, on a day I'm travelling of course ;)

I've updated www.riverhead.org/checkpoints.json with the correct fork.
