Title: The reason behind low BTSX trading volume?
Post by: Chuckone on October 03, 2014, 11:54:21 am
I was just wondering if there was a plausible explanation for the suddenly very low trading volumes for BTSX? From the data available on CMC, there's a volume of about 180BTC across all exchanges...

It's very low compared to what it was in the last few weeks...

At least the price is fairly stable, so it doesn't mean people are losing faith in BTSX (how could they be anyway, it's awesome!)

75% of the volume was from China and there is a major protest going right now in Hong Kong. Would be interesting to know if there's a relationship between that and the low volume.

I doubt that is the case... any other explanations?

People are happy with their positions and the valuation of BTSX is holding steady.

If you think about it this is the best explanation.
