Title: Old Bitcointalk threads prophesized BitsharesX
Post by: CoinHoarder on September 17, 2014, 08:57:35 am
So I can't sleep tonight and am bored... I decided to go to the first page of the Alternative Cryptocurrency subforum on Bitcointalk and something caught my eyes. A thread titled "Multicoin, Namecoin, Goldcoin, Silvercoin, OilCoin, 1971coin, backed by bitcoin!"

Warning: This thread leads to several other threads discussing the same topic, and could waste hours of your time as it has mine!!  ;D

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=31032.0

After reading several solutions to creating FIAT or commodity "market pegged" assets from 2011, it seems BitsharesX is likely a superior solution from the ideas that were shared, although some ideas come shockingly close to exactly how BitsharesX works.

Admittedly I haven't read all the threads or posts thoroughly which are linked in this thread, but I thought some of you may find these conversations interesting and perhaps there is a good idea that could improve BitsharesX buried within. :)

I still need to thoroughly dig through the threads to see if there could be an idea that could improve BTSX in some way. I kind of just scanned through it all last night.

I thought it was cool these things were being discussed back in the day.. I didn't get into Bitcoin until 2012, so I had no clue.

I thought this was a neat idea too, but after thinking about it I am certain a Big Mac costs more and less in certain countries as compared to others due to multiple dynamics so I am not sure it is plausible.

Guys, Do not read those old post... you might find clues that BM is indeed satoshi..

Lol :)
