Title: suggestion: use short date format in market UI
Post by: milkmeat on November 08, 2014, 01:15:05 am
Currently long date format are used in market, such as "margin call orders" and "blockchain order history".
e.g. September 19, 2015
or Movember 8, 2014 at 12:10:01 AM

That makes the date too long to fit into the table grid. I suggest to use short date format to make sure it can be displayed correctly in any case.
e.g. use 3-letter for month
and use 24 hour time rather than AM/PM

Best regards

I think they will anyway.

But seeing 'September' spelled all the way through and not seeing the year is one of the things that make my day, in this version.

Anyway...growing pains.  :)

Yes, date format is too long.
Also, date is not sorting by date but rather by string.
