I tried to present your position – as far as I have grabbed it by reading your forum and websites. Please make corrections if anything is not accurate. And mainly express your general level of interest in working with them.
I am not part of their leadership team. I just got a free stake in their distribution system. Also been reading about Bitshres for some time so IMHO it is a good fit for both sides.

I can only speak to my general impression, but it isn't usually a question of "interest in working". I've seen Dan say before he is interested in working with everyone. The problem just becomes developer resources which are quite costly. For good developers this is especially true. So everyone would love to try a dozen projects, but development takes a lot of time from smart guys whose time is valuable.

Well, we can help by answering questions... hopefully they have their own "smart guys" and thus we all win.
The problem is when people ask us to help but provide no resources. They get put on the queue.

As I see it, they should not be asking for much other than approval to use your free code and giving a stake to PTS and AGS holders. At least this is how I envisioned it in my head before posting my suggestion.
As for their developers –i.e. ‘smart guys’ – here is their developers thread for some general idea.

What separates Kora from most other coins is that we are putting in place a formal and public project plan. Most coins only open-source their code. We are going a step further. To put it differently, we are "crowd-sourcing" our project assumptions, project risks, and candidate solutions, so that the community - you - can help strengthen Kora with your input and ideas. And like your instinct to protect your quid, or your yuan, or your dollar, Kora's first instinct is to guard stakeholder value. I have some ideas on how to "build security in" to Kora. Undoubtedly you do to, and that is what this thread is for.
Seems like we could work with them to add a more formal project plan to BTS.

I just saw very good to excellent fit. Probably only on my head, but we will see. I am moderately satisfied that my suggestion was not instantly rejected by either side. Hope dies last.

If you do take Bitshares code please don't just do a copy and paste job of it. Make your chain unique so that our community has a reason to be interested. Straight clones are bad for the ecosystem but reproduction in a way which each new lifeform is unique is a good thing.
How can both communities bring value and utility to one another?
