The Bitshares website under "Gateways" is information only. See https://bitshares.org/resources/gateways. Are there any active gateways on the network? Any gateways under development?

not now, but you can try our bridge metaexchange.info (http://metaexchange.info) at the moment we are transfer bitBTC<-->BTC and are increasing the transfersize over the time.
