If purchasing bitcoins is banned and transaction with any cryptocurrency is also banned in china -how are we going to make the chinese purchase protoshares? Been really confused about this

No worries.
Chinese will purchase more PTS with BTC, once keyhotee will be released.
They cannot buy bitcoins now!
So how will they even buy PTS with BTC if they don't have BTC?
If people are smart enough to use proxies, pay cards or just mask their credit card they can buy anything.
Easy and simple to do and no one can trace it.
You can't really use your credit card while on a vpn or a proxy :P
Things here in china are not clear so far, so it's hard to say now. But I think exchange between cryptos have no problem and is OK.
Gateway to CNY start to be a problem here, it would be good to hear some over sea exchanges receive deposit from HongKong Bank. Or we may need a HongKong exchange with high reputation.
