Title: So, I'm really impressed with 2.0 so far!
Post by: Tuck Fheman on October 14, 2015, 05:54:47 am
This has really exceeded my expectations, so nice work all Devs!

I've had zero issues so far and love that I can leave my client open and do other things now. ;)

... except I just created an asset and I could swear I set the supply to 400,000,000 but it says 4,000,000 afterwards.

Perhaps I made a mistake, but I sat there checking it for 10 minutes before submitting on both screens.  :-\

This UIA is all screwed up. When I try to transfer 100 (or any amount it seems) to someone, the fee is near 20,000 of the UIA!

That's not going to work for the purpose. This sucks, what now?

lol, perhaps I should have asked some questions before diving into creating this UIA.

max supply can be modified .. as can the fee .. not sure why thus is the default .. you should take a look at update_asset command .. i think i described it in the integration part of docs.bitshares.eu ... more work will be done as soon as i can get it done :)

Glad you like it :)

The create asset modal was supposed to have been replaced by Chronos IIRC but since he left the project we kinda forgot about it. I'll make replacing it one of my priorities, it needs to be made into a full page really instead of a modal, with more options and some explanations.

So Chronos left the project but his 100% delegate was running and paying him right until yesterday.

I hope the worker concept in 2.0 will prevent such things from happening.

His funds were redirected to BM, Chronos was very open about it and there was a long thread about it:

Thanks. Now when I know what happened I feel much better about it.
But my point is still valid: as long as money is paid to a particular person and not for job delivered (as it was in 0.9.x) it is not practically possible to make informed decisions (unless you closely follow each post on the forum).
Hopefully 2.0 workers combined with dposhub (http://www.dposhub.com) will fix that.

Oh thank you! I thought I just threw away 5,000 BTS. Cool, I'll wait for the fix.

So, is there a way in the light wallet to get to the CONSOLE to issue these commands or do I need to get something else to do it?
