This forum has seen its day.
Poor search, archaic layout, you name it.
How about NodeBB (https://nodebb.org)?
It looks gorgeous, is mobile responsive, gets great reviews (search forum software on google), has real-time chat, supports Adsense ads for BTS businesses, has gamification, Q&A features like stackexchange, integrates with Slack and other cloud sites (like docs.bitshares.eu).. and it's free.

good idea
expensive!
I'm still for shutting this forum down (set it to read only) as archive.bitsharestalk.org and start with a fresh forum... what was the name of the software you recommended
@cass ? something with f.
flarum
Besides NodeBB,
I also like the look of Discourse (https://www.discourse.org/about/) as used on the Maidsafe forum (https://forum.safenetwork.io/).

Sounds good to me.
I assume the flarum UI/UX is nice, is mobile responsive, gets great reviews (search forum software on google), has real-time chat, supports Adsense ads for BTS businesses, has gamification, Q&A features like stackexchange, integrates with Slack and other cloud sites (like docs.bitshares.eu).. and it's free like NodeBB? - https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/
