Title: The Sharebot Decentralized?
Post by: fuzzy on February 29, 2016, 06:07:09 pm
@abit was talking about how he prefers to work on decentralized solutions but I got the sense he was hinting we could make the sharebot run off its own graphene chain.

I am not sure whether this is something that would be a good idea. Or even if it is plausible (though I assume it would be possible to have a graphene-based blockchain as a replacement to a mysql one).  I am kicking around the idea to see what others think about the technical feasibility.  Of course, if it was its own blockchain, it would also have to be able to connect up with other blockchains (bitshares is the absolute obvious one).

No, I was thinking to run it on top of BitShares network, not on a fork.

If this happened I would actually use sharebits.

By happened I mean what abit said about it running on Bitshares.
