Title: Bitshares and OpenLedger: Where to start
Post by: blurgenstein on March 27, 2016, 08:49:11 am
Hi,

Ik will maintain this thread, with the help of others possibly.

As I'm new, I'm gathering material by asking others and by searching on the Net. Instead of every newbie doing the same thing, I'd like to start what I found and share it, so even newer newbies can start with this thread.
Please add content your missing in this main post, and I'll add it.

I suggest you add the OpenLedger YouTube Channel, as it includes two tutorial videos and three use cases and furthemore videos in either other languages or with translations.

It might also good to know:

www.openledger.info is thelanding page with short introduction

www.bitshares.openledger.info is the link to browser wallet

www.openledger.hk once fully added in coming week estimated, this will be the choice of web wallet openledger in the far east for maximum access in terms of ip and server location.

another one coming for middle east sector, and by end May there shoud be 4 possible access points to OpenLedger webwallet either America, Europe, Middle East or Far East.

Really blockbuster article about Openledger!

Danish Bitcoin Exchange Expands Beyond The Blockchain

While Danish crypto currency exchange CCEDK has signalled that it is to become a hub for a series of “diverse projects” and services, with the current trading engine ceasing for good this May, investors should not panic as the shutdown will allow the exchange to initiate a major upgrade. Once revamped it relaunches as a Decentralized Conglomerate on 1 July – aka an enterprise ecosystem engine.

But you might ask what does this overhaul involve exactly? Well, CCEDK (now named Crypto Coins Enterprise Denmark) will transition from operating as an exchange to becoming the service and education center for the OpenLedger platform, which will effectively serve as a decentralized exchange (DEX) based on assets, smart coins and smarts contracts.
