I had same issue on my old mac. I don't think it currently works on 10.7.5. If I ever quit doing other things and they haven't figured it out I might try compiling and debugging it on the macbook. There is a github issue filed.

Same problem here with 10.7.3, i have to compile from source code always.

Why don't you upgrade your mac...?

Why don't you upgrade your mac...?
Good point. Then again, aren't these things supposed to accommodate the most number of users? It's not like I'm using Windows XP.

Just did. Perhaps there should be some kind of message recommending that people upgrade

If they don't ever plan to fix it, then yeah, put a notice or something. Meanwhile my BTSX's are just waiting to get GOX'd sitting on an exchange, waiting for an update that works.

Upgrading your mac to 10.9.4 is free and something that you should probably do... The only mac users that will not be able to use the client are those with macs that are 5 or more years old and cannot upgrade past 10.6.8. While running OS X Lion is not the same as running XP, you have still neglected to update your mac for the past 2 years...

Upgrading now. Thanks!
