Announcement concerning Snapshot and Delisting of DNS and PTS
Dear User of BTC38,
As the proposed by Invictus Innovations（3I in short) & DAC SUN LIMITED (3I in HK) and consented by the Bitshares Community, AGS/PTS/DNS/VOTE and BTSX will be merged and re-branded to BTS. For this purpose, 3I will do a snapshot of PTS and DNS on 24:00:00 UTC Nov. 5th. DND will be officially ended by the DNS developing team by then, and the PTS network will not be maintained and developed any further neither.
We respect the consesus reached by the BitShares community, and will do the same snapshot for all our user also. And for VOTE's snapshot, the one that already made will be used.
After the snapshot, the trade, withdrawal and deposit will stop, as the DNS network will stop. The PTS wil also be unlisted, but you can withdraw it within 7 days after the snapshot. After 7 days, you have to contact our customer service for withdrawal of PTS.
People who bought DNS before 16:26:40 PM UTC Oct. 21th will get a extra compensation by BM for their loss. We have done the snapshot for it. Once 3I has done the payment, we'll allocated the BTS accordingly.
Please also note that as per 3I's decision, the BTS that from DNS and PTS has a vesting period of two years, which are released separately per block.

not to mention that AGS cannot be killed as it is a "set in stone" book of donors for the early development ..

For AGS: How can anyone kill an asset that is NOT traded? It's a guestbook .. final stage reached .. nothing will change in that guestbook .. period!!
Let's see it that way .. the AGS guestbook entrance was KILLED on the final AGS donation day .. not by BM but by the limited donation period!
BM did not kill PTS as he IS NOT IN CHARGE of PTS .. when miners decide that it is not profitable to continue mining it .. then the miners are killing PTS .. that's the whole issue with POW ..

I hope nobody thinks BTS will be something independent from BTSX...
PS why is BTSX tanking so hard? Did I miss something? Or have the majority misinterpret what's going on?

I think it is tanking because more btsx traders read btc38 announcements than they read forums. So this is the delayed reaction of the panic this forum saw when they got the announcement for the first time.

I think it is tanking because more btsx traders read btc38 announcements than they read forums. So this is the delayed reaction of the panic this forum saw when they got the announcement for the first time.
So we must wait bter & yunbi to make their announcements also before we are sure we go upwards again :P
Obviously (result oriented ) , communication is not our strength... or our majority of investors are not the average university guys MeTHodOX are talking about... :)

My AGS now turns into BTS and gets unlocked on a linear scale over a 2 year period. More than likely, new DACs will only allocate shares to one group of holders, the new chain for BTS. Yes?
As far as DNS goes, I never claimed my shares with AGS/PTS. Will I just get my portion of BTS that comes from the DNS snapshot when I upload my private keys?

AGS doesn't change. It gets vesting BTS share-dropped on it and you still have the AGS ... like forever ... its just a public record of your donations sitting on PTS and BTC block chains. It can't go away.

You are getting your share of the dev's DNS stake. Which will then turn into some BTS, over the 2 year vesting period.
