Besides the mods, one of the basic function of SMF is that the site link can be changed to SEO friendly.
instead of
http://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1183.0
it will show
http://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?=About-time-to-SEO-optimize-this-forum
This will increase the google rank significantly, but may cause the link too long. I have been hesitating since beginning. What do you think?

Readable links, site map etc. are standard for blogs, so it should work for a forum too :)

Changing to the readable link now will make all the previous quote of forum links invalid.
But if we decide to do that, it is better now than later. I think that is why bitcointalk did not change.

I got the meta tag verifications for Google, Yahoo and MSN. Any others I should get?

The URL mod is removed. It messed up some moderation control (lock remove). I will try some other mods.
