Title: Bug? Lock unlock - Go back
Post by: davidpbrown on December 14, 2014, 10:08:40 pm
On a locked GUI screen, right-click option [Go back] appears to undo the lock and then works as if no lock was made.

Edit: It does bounce back to the locked screen at a point of actioning change to the wallet.. but still a surprise that all account detail etc is available.

that's w browser issue .. you maybe able to take "a look" into the wallet (pretty much the same can be achieve in the CLI as you don't need the passphrase to ''open" it) .. THOUGH .. you cannot withdraw funds as the "lock" kills the access to the private keys ..

What you experience is more a "display" bug .. or inconvenience than a security issue ..

In bitcoin (and all the other satoshi coins) you can open up the wallet.dat file and see funds .. though you cannot spend them unless you have the passphrase which was used to encrypt the private key .. same thing .. :)

Might address this in the future but low priority: https://github.com/BitShares/qt_wallet/issues/70
