Post by: Hurlie on December 09, 2013, 11:28:54 am
Hi there.

I'm new here since one week.

I'm using the protoshare Wallet for mining with an 8-core AMD with 4.0 GHz.
The program runs 24 hours a day since 6 days.
I'm mining with 3 threads.
The message in the right bottom of the windows is:
"Mining: 3 threads at 2000.2333 collosions per minute."

the other message is:
"8 active connections to protoshare network".

But if i type "getinfo", my ballance is 0.00000

{
"version" : 80500,
"protocolversion" : 70001,
"walletversion" : 60000,
"balance" : 0.00000000,
"blocks" : 30440,
"timeoffset" : -1,
"connections" : 8,
"proxy" : "",
"difficulty" : 0.00647256,
"testnet" : false,
"keypoololdest" : 1386143692,
"keypoolsize" : 101,
"paytxfee" : 0.00000000,

}

Get the mining info with getmininginfo

But seriously, I think it's all normal, you'd have to be very lucky to find a block solo.

Hello,

Tnx for the answer.

I have now downloaded ptsminer_3bit from ptsweb.beeeeer.org
and have another question about the <payout-address> for ptsminer.

I think, its a adresse that i get from my protoshare wallet?
Or is this not correct?

Then, after a few hours or days, there should be a little amount in my wallet.

Tnx for helping the newbie.

Right, that's the pts-address you want to recieve payments to.
You can see how you're doing at http://ptsweb.beeeeer.org/user/<payout-address>

Hello,

slowly I understand:)

How long does it approx. take, before there is the first payout?

An hour, a day, a week,....

I'm using an 8-core with 4 GHz.

tnx.

Payout threshold is at 0.2 at the moment. You should reach that after a day or two

Remember to benchmark your machine with other miners like jhprotominer.
