Busy week again, been working mostly on the referral partner fee sharing support, not much to see visually. The site got a logo finally and I fixed a bug which was causing transactions to be sent with 0 fee if bitcoind decided that was a good idea.正在开发介绍人佣金系统

alternatively, metaexchange could host it's own wallet having a bridge from BTC built in! @monsterer
This is possible, but not on any short-term roadmap we have. A stop gap would be for us to open up support for unregistered accounts, which is something I do have in my todo :)

This means that you will be able to exchange BitShares and related UIAs within the wallet with BTC. The Metaexchange team will also help us in the crowdfunder 大众with their phenomenal 惊人的exchange daemon. We believe that this might be the future of how these crowd funders will happen. We’ll be away from home for 3 weeks, which brings a lot of challenges. However, we feel it is essential to meet the members of the community we are working and organizing with. And the footage we capture will be invaluable.

ohh, forgot to mention: I released 0.1.10 about 3 days ago, which (apart from the usual bugfixes and optimizations) contains the following:
- feed checking is a bit more robust in case one of the feed providers fail 喂价能够检查数据源是否工作
- started modularization of the monitoring thread, in preparation of a bigger 0.2 release which will refactor monitoring into plugins, to make it easy for 3rd parties to write their own and/or contribute them to the mainline监控线程模块化
- added payroll distribution "plugin", contributed by user Thom, that distributes a delegate's pay amongst the configured accounts (still experimental)增加工资分配“插件”
0.2 will include some changes and refactoring to the config.yaml file, too, to make the general architecture more modular and the tools easier to extend. I hope to get it out as soon as possible :)
And by the way, given that btstools.digitalgaia is in standby (has only been active for 2 days :'( ), this means that I won't start working on the backbone proposal. If that's something that you want, please remember to vote for btstools.digitalgaia!

You should be able to recover your account on wallet.bitshares.org using your recovery password if the light server fails permanently, but you could also host your own server and edit the javascript in the light wallet to point it to your server as well.
After we get a stable release, I'll look into multi-server modes of operation which should be more fault tolerant.

I haven't read the rest of the thread but the above is the primary problem, and is common whenever we hardfork because we get long minority chains from delegates who haven't updated.
There is also a second problem where blocks after the hardfork are not necessarily invalid for old clients. So they might upgrade after the hardfork and if they don't reindex, they will have an inconsistent state but cannot tell until they finally start rejecting blocks.
It seems like we can mitigate the most common issues by a combination of:
Force all blocks after a hardfork to be invalid for old clients
Always reindex for hardfork releases
Always release a version with a checkpoint right after the hardfork as soon as possible. And force a reindex on startup if any checkpoints dont match the current state

I work every day from 8:30AM to 7PM along with 5 other developers to make BTS a success and that is just the developers.我和另外5名开发者一起工作，工作时间是早8点半到下午7点。
No one has more to lose from BTS failing than me and when people like wings are upset because they gave money to support a vision that is harder than they thought to achieve. 比特股失败的话，我的损失是最大的。投资者歇斯底里，是因为他们的投资风险超过了自己的承受底限。
If this were a "pump and dump" as wings has claimed then I would have sold when we hit $100M rather than held.
