Title: The Web Wallet on BitShares.org "Get Started" page...
Post by: kenCode on March 25, 2015, 11:28:47 am
A lot of people (like me, in particular) don't like to download and install stuff.

Shouldn't this page: http://bitshares.org/get-started (no https auto-redirect?)
Also provide the choice of Opening an Account with the Web Wallet as a 4th choice?

So, there would be 4 squares on the above page instead:
Win | Mac | Linux | Web Wallet

Those 4 boxes should then be above where it says "Step 1 - Download Software".
Obviously the Web Wallet would just href to https://wallet.bitshares.org

Just a thought.
I think it would show people that you don't have to install stuff to use BitShares.
Please and thanx :)

IIRC the webwallet is still in beta .. I think we shouldn't expose it to the user just yet ..
let's way here for 1.0 or at least label the web wallet with a big fat 'beta' or 'preview'

nah, that would be like sayin we should stop all tweets and marketing completely.
a big fat BETA or PREVIEW is a good idea for the wallet.bitshares.org site as well as any links to it right now.

i'm spreadin the word like crazy (tweets, let's talk bitcoin, g+, forum threads, wiki pages, etc), not gonna stop.
