market depth is very important!!!!!
-
The problem is right now this would mean increasing fees for market orders and increased fees are never popular.

What does this mean?

the internal fees are so low, i don't believe if would have an impact!

Maker : increase the depth of the market 0 fee or even get extra reward
taker:reduce the depth of the market ,more fee than now

You can't have 0 fees because orders are placed inside a transaction - otherwise there is no cost for DDOS attack. Maybe you could charge 0.2 BTS for a market order and 'somehow' give 0.1 BTS from that fee to the limit order it completed against. Not sure how tho :)

Sounds like a good idea .. get you trade for free if matched .. though you would still need 2tx fees to cancel an unfilled order ..
