Hello there,
I have just signed up and feeling literally glad to be a part of this family. I am a newbie and looking forward for some expert guidance to enhance my knowledge and skills.

Does the online wallet works exactly the same in terms of functions like the full client? I find it more easy to work with online wallet because full client always crushes on Ubuntu Linux.

Yes it does ...
no need to sync the whole blockchain if you just want to use the network .. though you could if you wanted to ..

Yes it does ...

Not so sure if it is very safe though.. I for once had a web wallet at some point, created a couple of accounts, had some small amounts in there and then something happened and was never able to recover my wallet and funds even if I still have my passphrase and recover key. I wouldn't put too much in there if I were you.
