We're pleased to announce the start of the https://metaexchange.info signature campaign! We're paying 10 BTS per constructive, non-spam post with our signature included up to a limit of 100 posts per month, which totals 1000 BTS per user maximum.
To qualify:
* You must be a Jr. Member and above
* No spam posts (or just +5% etc) will count
* Insert the BB code below into your signature, unaltered
* Signature must remain present for the entire period
* Post once below with our signature to confirm your sign up to this campaign
* This must be the only signature present in your profile

We've always been a bitcoin<->bitshares exchange, but with the recent addition of nxt and the new coin voting for other currencies, we felt the tag line had to change to reflect the diversification. BTS/BTC remains our biggest market and we stand by our commitment to bitshares and bitshares assets, which is why we have included the new NASDAC and SHENZHEN assets in our list of coin votes.
The idea of being able to buy into the Nasdaq composite index from bitcoin would surely bring a lot of positive attention onto bitshares :)

imho, it's in a public place, so it's advertising, not spam.
spam, to me, is when it's invading your personal space, like your email account for example.

FYI - I've been using metaexchange exclusively for my BTS orders, and now am using metaexchange and CCEDK....both definitely my preferred methods. Thanks!

I was so tempted to post just the above +5% and leave it at that for the sake of irony.
I've decided instead to create an exceptionally constructive post ( :P) by pointing out what I see as the opposite ends of the spectrum.
- It can legitimately be argued that these signatures will detract from the ambiance in the forum by 'cheapening' the atmosphere and annoying people.
- It can legitimately be argued that these signatures will remind people of a decent on ramp, and will therefore serve to benefit the BitShares ecosystem as a whole. It will also help those who put time and effort into creating metaexchange, which may motivate them further to continue doing good work for BitShares.
Where do I fit on the spectrum? Dunno - I JUST WANT MY BTS REWARD!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
It remains to be seen how aggravating the signatures will be. I'm gonna do it for the time being and see how it goes...

Do you ever go on the letstalkbitcoin forum (https://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/board/all/?ref=9b29def8)? People have used this kind of signature advertising there. Are you doing this outside of bitsharestalk at all?

you are correct only posts - after your post here counts!

we will only count posts who are making sense - so for this reason - i will count it by hand :D
If we really reach to "many" people, we will change for the next month our proposal, but we don't expect this happen.

Payouts are once per month - at that point we will include links to the payments via bitsharesblocks.com

Perhaps if you try putting it back with the long code so your signature shows the whole code. We may be able to look at it and spot where it's going wrong?

Go to 'Profile', then 'Forum Profile'. Then put anything appropriate you want in the box. Then click 'Change profile'. Well your there check out the avatar feature.

the "metaexchangepartners" account we are holding this funds is not claimed right now in BTS 2.0. So the payment will be delate. The reason is that
we need a couple of accounts and we want to get the referral back to us, as much as possible.

In the future the payment will happen again monthly.
We had to change the payment rule, because the paying account is not a lifetime member, so 1 transaction costs 30 BTS. So the payment will only occur if you have 300 BTS to transfer.
The BTS who we are not transfering are going into the next periode and will be paid as soon as you reach the 300 BTS limit. Sorry for the change!

it is not always 30 days, but don't worry we always count the posts from the last time.
so in december we did the payment on 24th and in january on 30th.
makes no difference on the longrun. the payment who didn't made it above 300 will be paid the next time you make it above.
