A bit of a tease: crypto service takes on AdSense
THURSDAY 13 AUGUST 2015

BitTeaser, a new advertising service, brings together advertisers and publishers – with all the benefits of cryptocurrency built in.

Google is the undisputed king of the web, and when it comes to paid advertising they’re the go-to guys. They make it fast, simple and – if you’ve got a site with good traffic – lucrative to host ads.

But they’re still Google and they’re still working with fiat, which means there are inevitable disadvantages. Stuff like minimum payouts, issues with registering bank accounts (if you have a bank account – and a surprising number of people don’t), and the cookie-cutter nature of the service.

Very nice.

What are the terms of service on site content?  There are lots of freedom minded websites that are currently censured by google.  Antiwar.com comes to mind.

Since we want to come out with announcement of some sort, I cannot tell it more clearly right now, that the people involved are all CCEDK :), bt we want it to be able to stand on its own somehow.

Well, a big article will be out on Forbes next week on Bitteaser and it taking up the battle with adsense, and I am the one being interviewed, so I guess we are pretty deeply involved already, just havent announced it yet! Heh

This is terrific. Looking forward to hearing more. We can market the heck out of these kinds of services, above and beyond the currency itself. CCEDK, you guys are great.

We're lucky to have you Ronny...  Adsense is the one thing that really change my mind about Ads.  Targeted delivery to the right person in the right area.  Very powerful stuff..   Many have proved it profitable, of course we need to mix it with Crypto.

Lately BitTeaser made some upgrades. And here is a short info on what was added

New admin panel:

BitTeaser looks interesting.
My problem with it lies with their logo and the fact that they do not accept any Smartcoins yet.
 
XBTfreelancer made the same mistake.
So did Let's Talk Bitcoin.
you get my point.
 
I am certainly doing my part to spread the word, but if we can get these different crypto sites to open their minds to other cryptos as well, they can expand a lot faster.
 
Branding in this space is everything. It's admirable to take on Adsense, but unless they "think bigger pinky" it'll never happen.

Just so you know, the idea has been to integrate bitteaser on the bitshares blockchain, but since the profit takes and payments are done in micro transactions as well, the present minimum fee rather than a percentage does not allow this to happen.

Untill then we are working on adding the profits to Obits value proposition
