Title: Muse music competition - community fund the winning band
Post by: Ben Mason on August 23, 2015, 10:25:39 am
Before the launch of Muse, could we crowd-fund (community only) a music competition and fund the winner's first album or a tour....they would showcase the new Muse driven music platform?  Help create a stir!

Let's hope so!  ;D. It's nice to imagine them lining up. The winning band could commit to using only BTS and its derivatives and burn a small percentage of BTS.

I'm really trying to think how we can add network affect and direct value back to BTS.  The competition could be annual and in 10 years we could have 10 successful Muse bands all burning BTS!

peertracks... when are we going to see some REAL value in this project? I mean your website is far from "working" and it seems like you are only "burning" money for certain things but not pushing any beta or something useful.

I appreciate that it is extremely difficult to keep up with the changes and their implications but the least you could do is try to stick to the point of the thread and to make sure you are up-to-date before offering criticism.

It is my understanding that there will be a relaunch once the Muse blockchain is ready after Bitshares 2.0 is launched. Look no harm done, it's just so easy for people to rant about negative things....it's hard work to be constructively critical so we should all bevmindful that we're making an effort.

Also, it takes a lot of effort to be optimistic and encouraging, especially when the chips are perceived by some to be down. In a survival situation, what kind of person would you rather have by your side?
