Title: You will be excited to AGS after seeing this thread
Post by: 520Bit on January 02, 2014, 08:37:39 am
I would like to give you a calculation for the AGS and BTS.

See below quote to get the background

Do AGS 1:1 map to BTS? For example, if one investor has 100 AGS, can he claim 100 BTS by 100 AGS? Or only 10%=10BTS? If only 10%, I do not think this is a good idea. Please clarify.

If Investor has X AGS out of T total AGS issued then they get   X/T * 2000000 BTC out of a total of 4M BTC.

Dan

The T should equal to 200M from the beginning of this thread, or still changing?

T = 20,000 today, grows by 10,000 per day.

Question:
If one investor has X AGS, how many BTS will he claim in the futhure?

Assumption:
The total AGS issued is T.

Solution:
Let say the investor will get Y BTS eventually.

Y=X/T*2000000 BTS.

Example:
Take Jan 1st, 2014 for example, the investor who donate 500 PTS for AGS, then how many BTS will he get finally?

Solution:

As bytemaster mentioned, T=20000 on Jan 1st, 2014. And the total PTS received in foundation PTS address are approximately 2270 PTS on Jan 1st, 2014. So the answer is simple:

X=500/2270*5000 AGS=1101.32 AGS

Then,

Y=X/T*2000000 BTS=1101.32/20000*2000000 BTS=110132 BTS

What amazing calculation! But is it true???

a) If III company only issue 20000 AGS, above calculation is correct and fantastic.
b) If III company issue 2000000 AGS eventually, then Y=1101.32 BTS.
c) If III company issue AGS more than 20000 and less than 2000000 eventually, what do you think? Let say issue 1000000 AGS finally, then Y=1101.32/1000000*2000000 BTS=2202.64 BTS.

So the investor throw 500 PTS and get 1101.32 BTS even far more than 1101.32 BTS paid back, what do you think?

In a word, the first day is a big deal for investors whatever how many AGS will issue finally.

How many AGS did you get on first day?

Wish BTS a great success in 2014!!!

I think you misunderstood... new AGS dilutes old AGS just like new mined coins dilute older mined coins.

By our estimation when we launch BTS there will be about the same number of PTS and AGS in circulation.   In effect 1 PTS and 1 AGS will earn you about the same number of BTS... if we release early then AGS will be better, if we are late then PTS may be better.

So lets say that you earned 2500 AGS by contributing half of all BTC on Jan 1.   Lets also assume that we launch BTS in 100 days at which point T=1M   Then you will end up with 5000 BTS as 2M BTS is divided among 1M AGS holders.   On that same day there will likely be 1.3M PTS which means PTS holders will see between 2/1.3x => 1.5 BTS per PTS.

I can't agree more. I believe AGS would have a great success and BTS would launch early!!!

Anyway, the first day is good for the one who donate 500PTS for AGS, because 2270 PTS are the total amount on Jan 1st, 2014. The guy will get 500/2270*5000=1101.32 AGS, right? Even if 1AGS=0.8BTS eventually, the guy will get 1101.32*0.8 BTS=881.05 BTS. So he donate 500 PTS and get 881.05 BTS paid back, also a big deal.

Consider a worst-case condition, if 1AGS=0.5BTS finally ,the investor will get 1101.32*0.5BTS=550.66PTS eventually. What do you say?

Worst case AGS = 0.75 PTS if we take much longer to deliver.  That said, you can usually get AGS for 0.5 PTS or less so it is always a win.
