Thanks for your feedback! Devs did a great job for sure! Wallet is more awesome than most people realize at this point ..
It literally is just a webpage and can be easily customized for anything you can imagine :D

did you create the json file with the consol comand?
wallet_export_keys C:\user\youtfolder\wallet-export.json
you have to create a folder

when i created the json i had a few little dificulties
in the consol i had ok
but in the folder the json was not to see
i used search function on windows
put .json in
then i copied and past it in the folder i wanted it to be and it showed
i helped a friend to migrate and he found it with
\wallet-export.json in the search

i hope that helps

last time I checked there was no "IMPORT KEYS" tab only "Import Backup" or "import from bitshares 0.9.3c". If I click the latter it is prompt for a password.

If I go settings and then wallet I see "restore wallet" or "new wallet"

I haven't yet figured out where to go... :(

i clicked "import from bitshares 0.9.3c" then i was asked for my password the one you have in the 0.9.3c

then it worked fine
i followed the steps
