Title: Community assistance: Contacting Exchanges to list MUSE
Post by: cob on October 15, 2015, 05:54:03 pm
Hi everyone!

If anyone knows of any crypto exchanges that are already upgrading to Graphene to allow BTS 2.0 to trade. You can do three things to help.

1. Contact them yourself if you know them and tell them about MUSE coming out on the 26th of October.
2. List them here. That way someone that does know someone on the inside in the exchanges can get in touch and spread the gospel that is MUSE.
3. PM their contact info and I can get in touch

If you wish to contact them directly, let them know we are basically a clone of BTS 2.0 and so if they already set themselves up to list BTS 2.0, MUSE will be no different.

This can help!

Cheers guys!
Let's get MUSE listed everywhere.

you may consider either forking the docs for MUSE or we should have a sub section for muse to make clear that the muse blockchain is a different chain.
From recent days I have a feeling most exchanges don't inform themselves well enough :(

I have sent out information to poloniex and bter. Waiting for response.

btc38 said they are not ready to list bts2 and so I do not think they are ready for MUSE.

I am looking out for other exchanges.

Edit:

Email is sent to bittrex informing them of the launch.

poloniex replied. It is the fastest to response.

"It might be a few days before they're available. We were told we would be warned about the launch, but unfortunately there was no communication after that. "

Thumbs up!

Poloniex will hopefully not reuse to add this asset even if the communication is so bad

They are getting up their old bts wallet and syncing.  It may take awhile.

Did BTC38 mention what it would take for them to list BTS2? Is there something that they need from the developers?

Btc38 already trades BTS2

Then MUSE shouldn't be that big of a deal. We hope. :)

Synchronising the old bts1 wallet has always been a big problem. Let's give them some time to settle down.

@cob Have you contacted exchanges as a main developer? If not, I would like to encourage you to do so, because some exchanges weight developer's willingness.

Bittrex is interested, heard back from Bill.  I msged Cob and working on getting those two together to work through the specifics.

In my email to the exchanges, I included links to articles, podcasts and a 5 min Youtube explainer.  Just a little free time here and there to contribute.

Poloniex still has problem claiming their balances. I ask them to contact the devs here or @xeroc who has experience with it.

xeroc, I gave them your email contact.

I'm in contact with Mr. Huang, BTC38 CEO, with help of Bitcrab. He will study MUSE at http://peertracks.com/ and http://museblockchain.com/ (also, cob's answer in shareholders question too) If there's better material, please let me know.

Problem is even worse. Some people here can't claim their MUSE and it seems that's not the problem. Who wonna list these crap. I can't claim my MUSE and Cob for some unknown reason thinking that musician and other artist will be perfectly happy with these technology. Common guys.

When talking to people about MUSE/Peertracks, I find the links below helpful.  The 5 min Youtube video does a good job getting someone started.  If they are someone into Bitcoin, the Bitcoin Magazine is helpful.  If they are outside Bitcoin, the billboard article seems to carry some weight.

I sent my request through the Coinmarketcap.com form.  For anyone that has a Bitcointalk account, I'd recommend posting it here.

Cool you handled it!  Until we get MUSE to point correctly and get on at least 1 decent exchange, we're stuck.

@cob @clayop

I received a response from CMC

"Hi,

Thanks for the link.  Can you link me to distribution information for MUSE?  Specifically we need to know how many coins are available to the public (not in the hands of private investors or the creators).

--
CoinMarketCap Support"

I wrote back with the information they were requesting.

I also forwarded this to Cob, he said it was right.

Hello support,

1. Distribution Link (post by creator)

"So until Graphene there were 1.5 billion MUSE Core Units with infinite stakeholder-approved dilution.

The only thing that changed with Graphene is that we have put a CAP on dilution to a nice round number 500 million, making TOTAL possible MUSE Core Units to be 2 billion.

So what we basically did is go from infinite possible dilution to a hard coded max possible dilution of 25%. Your welcome.

And once again, don't like the reserve fund? Vote to burn it all!

So to clarify!

The 500 million Reserve Fund is not in the hands of PeerTracks inc.
It's in the hand of the stake holders. It's the MUSE blockchain's own reserves.

The PeerTracks Stake is 10% of the original 1.5 Billion. Some 150 Million Shares NOT the 500 million reserve fund that might never even see the light of day before workers burn it all haha."

Public: 1,350,000,000
PeerTracks: 150,000,000

1.5 Billion

MUSE Chain (that might never seen the chain itself if voters say no): 500,000,000

2. Peertracks MUSE Crowdfund Case-study

https://bitsapphire.com/peertracks-case-study/

Crowdfund that raised 1400 Bitcoins

3. APIs

4. Social Media

MUSE is listed on the first page of CMC!
But now, Gliss (owner of CMC) is misunderstood about reserved fund, hence available supply is way too low. Sorry for my bad English. Someone can explain reserved fund, please go to bitsharestalk and clarify it for him.
