Title: Committee Member Selection Idea: (Poll)
Post by: fuzzy on November 03, 2015, 07:13:25 am
Should committee member spots go to those with the most valuable tokens trading in the BitShares ecosystem?

Are there too many Downsides to do this? Too many Upsides not to?

I'm wondering if early on we should incentivize community members to create their own tokens...and those who make them the most valuable are given a designated number of committee member spots (maybe like the top 5 most valuable tokens..?)

So I'd imagine that Cob, John Underwood, CCEDK...etc would have the most valuable tokens in the ecosystem when they come out.  Which would make them prime candidates for committee memberships like that.  Does this make sense?

We cant be afraid to try and fail..
The path to bitshares' greatness will not be all smooth roads and it will take a great amount of time and effort to grow and succeed.  We must have patience, explore possibilities and take part in the animating contest of freedom.  :)
