Indian Summer Announcements

Just when you thought Summer was finally over and it was safe to come back to the forum!
...
What a successful summer!!!

Yep.  They say 90% of startups fail.  Looks about right.
Shows how hard it is to be an entrepreneur.
(Although some of those you lined out are still plugging away.)

Note that one particular company delivered on all its Summer Announcements.  :)

Ah.. reference to our announcement it is still well and kicking though delayed by a few factors out of our control.

What makes you think anybody who is working on projects related to Bitshares should be dancing around for this forum?

There is rarely anything good that ever comes of it.

Good point.  I have a very hard time getting most of them to come here.   I wonder why?

Banx is dead for sure.

Data (Bunker) is still working on his project, so that's not a failure.

ANNOUNCEMENT 7 - Cryptonomex Begins Licensing Technology To Partner Chains > dead, licensing model was changed

LottoShares to Debut on BitShares 2.0 > See Banx

CCEDK to Publish its Order Book on the BitShares Blockchain > they issued their own UIA's, so this is dead (for now?)

no idea about the other projects, they could be progressing just fine. updates would be cool, but you can't expect people to invest time to it.

Thats what i am talking about .. you cant show this forum to anyone interested in the tech .. too much greed, no motivation, no fun (at times)

We need to get back to our golden times.

I wish more people were as motivated as data, dan, stan, ronny and others!

That is why I can't wait until Sharebit's has the API ready because then you can have multiple communities' forums, blogs...etc integrating the Sharebot on the front end----Thus using Bitshares as a tool for token-sharing while showing themselves and their community's value to help sell it.  I mean let's face it, every online forum has people who are considered among the most trustworthy and important...people who worked hard to make the community stay alive.  This is the case for bug collecting, storm-chasers, gaming communities...etc just as it is with crypto---they just have no means generally of awarding points to community members for helping them with tasks.

As I said yesterday...

But remember... this whole price drop is because of negative people on the forum who scare away investors...lol
Seems like China's attempt at addressing that same false issue on their stock market has failed too, go figure  :)

The majority of BTS forum posters are shareholders in other alts and posters on other forums. So you'd have to argue that the atmosphere on nearly ALL crypto forums and DAC forums like Ethereum is negative and toxic in order to try and blame the negativity and toxicity you perceive here on those posters themselves.

While the following conclusion is very logical, which is why many find it humorous, If you did a Venn diagram, you'd see that the fairly unique elements in this regard are BitShares itself, BM, Stan and a few others.

So if the negativity and toxicity on this forum is much higher than others then it's primarily because of the decisions & actions of BM, Stan, BitShares itself and a few others.

If you want the atmosphere to improve and become more positive, BM, Stan & BTS exclusive elements need to change their behaviour and actions in order to receive a different response.

2 years ago I proposed to give the single mom in Bali bitUSD.

I proposed to make a cafe to make a few users a day.

I proposed to help refugees.

None of this was supported enough.

I talk to 20 people a day, imagine what an impact I could have made.

These 20 people check the forum and see that mostly nobody supports me. They realize how stupid that is and are not interested anymore.

This will be all possible when the BitShares Mobile Wallet is finished for Android and IOS.

It is already working today!!

Please keep your support going. BitShares will make a jump soon.

I also have big plans for the real refugees. They will love the BitShares Mobile Wallet with the OpenLedger integration!!

My approach is NOW. Then we've already WON.
It's cool but what I cannot here anymore is future talking. I need to vent here, because of the lack of social engagement of the whole community.

As the only chain with active social interaction like my job, we could be further.

I agree with you on all things.
