Title: Importing 0.9.3C backup into Muse
Post by: onceuponatime on January 16, 2016, 04:05:41 am
Could someone please link me to the instructions for importing my BitShares 0.9.3c wallet backup into my Muse wallet and collecting my Muse balances?

Alternatively, could I just import a backup of my BitShares2.0 wallet?

I think the following instruction works

1. Download and install the latest wallet at  https://github.com/peertracksinc/muse/releases/tag/v1.0.160115

2. Create an account

3. Go to Settings-Wallet Management Console

4. Click IMPORT KEYS under Key Import Tool

5. Import 0.9.3c wallet
If you don't have 0.9.3c wallet see here http://docs.bitshares.eu/bitshares/migration/howto-exporting-wallet.html (You have to use console)

6. Go to LOOKUP BALANCES in Wallet Management Console, and claim your balance to your account

Someone please confirm this process works with the wallet. If so,  I'd recommend creating a post in the main board and link back. With the sharedrop and BTS version change, so many haven't claimed their balance yet.

No... MUSE has separate and new genesis so we need to create accounts again.
