I like r3wt, but it's definitely risky to use a new exchange even if it is run by reputable people.
I've opened an account and will be opening the book on MMC, but advise you to tread with caution.

Seems like the code is open source, but it may pose a security risk to have that code available for the public viewing.

I'm going to put a few MMC in the market over there but the volume on OpenEx doesn't seem very attractive.

I disagree. Open source allows peer reviewing and is making that site more secure.
