Twitter is a great tool to stay in touch with your audience, we all know about that.

With ShareBits, you can give Twitter even more power : You can send assets (BTSFCX, DOGE, GOLD, BTS, ...) to people on Twitter.


Isn't it already mind blowing enough?

Not for us !


What if we could automate the process ?

Example:    - Sending 10 BTSFCX to every new follower
                   - Sending 1 BTSFCX for every retweet
                   - Sending 1 BTSFCX for every mention
                   - Sending a giveaway code for 100 BTSFCX every X hours

As pointed by @fuzzy  an open source bot would do a great job at this.


But what if we wanted to give it a shot right now ? To have some feedback.

What if we combined [Twitter & ShareBits] with another [Twitter App] ?

[Zapier]: Let you automatically send a tweet every time someone retweet/follow/mention you (https://zapier.com)

This is some crazy interesting and powerful stuff. If the BitShares community learns to use these tools we can get tons of attention very quickly.

um clains...we are planning to teach them...and learn as well.  Be on the lookout for something else i think ull love :)

I personally wonder what it woild be like to have a small army of botters doing precisely this.  I also might be thinking up a plan to make it possible too :)

Imagine that somehow we grab the attention of businesses and their marketing teams who already use bots to advertise on social media.  And imagine if we show them the added benefits to calling the bot to reward users for various completed tasks..

i have many if anyone wants to pass them out.  you know...actually when i get the time i will probably try to set this bot up on my account. once i do that, maybe we can have a hangout to work with it and show others in the community.

We didn't reach the max number of action/month @ zapier (yet) so we are still under the *FREE* plan.

omg...you guys are always posting to twitter man. I would have guessed at least that you needed the 20/month plan.

Maybe @JonnyBitcoin would like to go over how to use it at this Sunday's hangout?  I would gladly help behind the scenes with some of the technical stuff (maybe send out invites for you and monitor a few outside chat channels and send you some of the questions).  I'll also gladly offer to distribute 10 COPPERTICKETs to everyone who signs the guest list.

I am not good at speaking english, reading and listening is ok but you would have hard times trying to understand me  :P
Anyway, I do my best to be at every hangout, will be there on Friday & Sunday.
