He has issued BANX on the BTS chain and from what he told me you will be able to withdraw your BANX into your BitShares account

Leave your BanxShares in Banx.io and the Banx team will manage the transition over to the BitShares platform.

Correction banx.io is not closing. Banx holders balance will be converted to BTS network by Byron on banx.io .
