I like the initiative, it finally sounds like something that could be like CoinBase or something, but what about OpenLedger? There are just too many projects. Eventually some will get neglected. It just seems too much.
If this becomes part of the Conglomerate, why not simply replacing OpenLedger? Or this is a new service that could run on top of OpenLedger?

Sorry for not being able to reply much. As you may have noticed I have been away the last few days, arriving to speak at Coinfest, Manchester yesterday with no sleep at all coming directly from Moscow.
I firmly believe that all we do make sense to you and anyone else in time, most probably even within next few months. I cannot tell you all we do, as I like to keep things popping up as news value, and hope you can appreciate that as well.
When it comes Nanocard, it has always worked, the only thing that did not was it working via CCEDK, due to the constant changes and updates in past months anot allowing CCEDK to have it fully integrated. NanoCard as wll as its trademark is as such the property of CoinsBank, and where CoinsBank card is whitelabelled for eu citizens, nanocard is meant more for thje global audience and all depending on the possible restrictions connected to that country. With NanoCard you will see much more exposure in future, rest asure on that.
CoinsBank is a separate company, and shoud be considered as such in all the ways. What happens in future due to me being involved in all, well for now I will leave yoou with the guessing.
I think it was a nice description someone made in Moscow, CoinsBank being the European "Coinbase", and I replied yes, and with quite a few extra features added it is much more than CoinBase, and everyone will be able to agree in coming months as they learn about it all.
Anything that happens in near future where I am involved will be all for the good of mainstream acceptance of crypto, so that should make you feel better also I hope @Akado

CoinsBank launches crypto solution
Edinburgh-based crypto startup CoinsBank launched this week an all-in-one gateway to blockchain services as part of their official sponsorship of Money20/20Europe.
CoinsBank launched the product by including gift boxes with related gifts in the bags of the 3,000 participants that attended the event. Gifts included a debit card, a gift certificate of 0.1 BTC and an invitation to CoinsBank’s blockchain summit to be held in October.
The goal of the platform is to combine the elements of the cryptocurrency and traditional financial ecosystems and create a seamless experience for users to manage their cryptocurrencies. “Getting started with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be daunting,” said Ronny Boesing, CEO of CoinsBank, in a press release sent to CoinReport. “Whilst they offer many advantages in theory, in practice the challenges involved in both acquiring and using them can put off new users.”
The gateway will provide users with a digital wallet, trading exchange, mobile app, physical payment cards and tools for merchant integration. CoinsBank will also support all major currencies and include different deposit/withdrawal methods. Users will be able to send and receive money in both local currencies and cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin.

If I understand correctly, we can look at CoinsBank as something very much like Coinbase...which is a fiat-to-crypto gateway. So of course it has to be centralized. In any event, the advantages of CoinsBank seem to be that it supports multiple fiat currencies. And not just BTC but also currently LTC (and hopefully BTS and ETH in the near future?). Plus there is a linked debit card, which I don't believe Coinbase has. So this should be pretty exciting for Bitshares.

no, that is not what is said, but fact is, tor is used by these kinds of people for the reason of not being able to track IP adress, so it is simply too risky for a platform like CoinsBank to consider Tor. sorry but you need to use Tor in places where that is accepted, not many exchanges if I recall consider TOR.
I dont wish to discuss further on this pls, this is entering into security questions and issues and i not for public info. except what is possible to find on website or otherwise communicated.

Sure, I understand it's not the main topic of this thread.
And of course part of the point of using Tor is to obfuscate the IP address.. you don't need to be up to no good to not want the service to track your physical location.
I have accounts with a half dozen bitcoin exchanges in several countries and this was never an issue. Ditto for banking, as mentioned.
And Tor or no Tor, it is still a valid point that by using Cloudflare, your users are sharing all of their usage of your site with this American company, without their consent, and most likely even awareness. Users see the green https:// and think they're talking to coinsbank, while instead it's actually Cloudflare they're talking to. It breaks the fundamental TLS assumption that the connection is secured between endpoints.
It might even be against EU law, but hey, I'm no lawyer.
Using Tor just makes that intrusion immediately obvious, as one is censored and harassed with captchas to be able to read content (censorship). So in that sense I'm actually glad they go out of their way to harass people who care about privacy enough to bother using Tor, as I immediately know which websites not to visit.
So I wish you best of luck with this new venture, and I have nothing against you personally (sometimes with just text it might be hard to see), but the above I had to say. There are legitimate uses for Tor, and most Tor traffic is not malicious; Yes, many attacks come from Tor, but most Tor users are not attackers. Same fundamental mistake people make with muslim terrorists..
For these reasons I won't become a user or recommend coinsbank to anyone. And I can sincerely congratulate you at the same time for pushing your vision to reality.

Just so you know, it takes only one stupid person to tear down whatever you have built, and from what i know, at least you limit some of these users access by oing it this way, but i am not the expert, and I have passed this info onto the ones responsible for the security, just in case.

I still am not recommending coinsbank because of cloudflare.
Have you investigated the legal side of this, by the way? Cloudflare is an American company, and by intercepting all TLS connections to coinsbank.com, they get access to all of your users' data.
Not only is that tremendously bad for privacy, it might also be setting you guys up for giant fines from the EU.
I am no lawyer, but I would say it's worth investigating just to be sure!
