You might want to compare the to-be-published price with the current price on the BitShares blockchain and prevent your script from posting prices that changed more than x% to make sure coincap.io does NOT play your feed.

I believe it is not in coincap.io's (http://coincap.io/) interest (or finance.yahoo.com (http://finance.yahoo.com) / any exchange) to play with feeds if they wish to be taken seriously as an information source.
I am open to suggestions on how to add security and simplicity

wanted to let you know that I will update my bts_tools to publish this feed, and will publish it as soon as I have it ready.
Always excited with these new "smart" coins/assets, I think it really shows the strength of the BitShares platform and how it can behave as a "decentralized polymorphic digital asset exchange" :)

btw, I just saw that you have set those parameters:
MCR: 136%
MSSR: 106.9%
I assume that's on purpose, do you want all feed publishers to use the same parameters?

The Idea is to allow more volatility by allowing less collateral to promote high frequency trading.
I am open to suggestions to how this can best be achieved.

I released bts_tools version 0.4 which adds support for publishing feeds for the ALTCAP asset!

I do compute it from the average between what CoinCap and CoinMarketCap say, so it's slightly different than just CoinCap, let's see if that's an issue or not.
