Title: Please help! Restoring old backup with new password?

I cant seem to log in. i might have got my pass wrong but Im pretty sure its correct i was just using it. this is what happend anyway..

I recently changed my password and I know im typing it right but I cant seem to log in.

so now im wondering since I remember my old password and i have a backup from before i changed it sitting in my trash bin. if I use the old backup do i use the old password? because I definitely was accessing the account earlier when I first created it. Please help I transfered a lot of coin in there.
