Dear Bitsharescommunity,
I created an Account through Online Exchange yesterday. Since I didn't know if it was safe to accept a generated password I choose the Advanced option. What I didn't know was that it only created a login through the local wallet (which was not stated especially clearly). I logged in, and transfered bitcoins to my account. Later the same evening, through unfortunate circumstances, I deleted the history and cache from Google Chrome. After this, I was not able to login again, despite that I have written down the username and the password.
I am therefore asking - is there any way to login again to access my funds? I got a username and a password that I have written down, but I still cannot log in. Is the only way to find the local wallet in cache files through backups of my Macbook? Is this even possible?
