Title: Limit vs Market orders
Post by: ngenko01 on January 18, 2018, 01:52:15 pm
Hi all,

as I understand the bitshares api, we can only make limit orders. The counterpart has to meet exactly my order to be executed.
That's why if I have a a limit order to sell one BTC at 100 000 usd on the market, and then, someone places a buy order for this price (for a very low amount), the market will show a very high transaction.

Is there a way to execute market transactions on bitshares market (even if it's dangerous, I understand) ?

Thanks for your support.

You can place market orders and limit orders, and they get automatically matched. Try it, it is easy.
